iServer process modeler capabilities
Visio shapes as process repository objects: as well as providing the only process repository to hold and reuse documents and document components as well as process models and model components, iServer delivers extensive capabilities to help create, monitor, analyze and report on an organization's process initiative. Process models are generated quickly and easily within the familiar environment of Microsoft Visio and Office and unlike other modeling tools, the content stays in its original Microsoft format so can be easily extracted from the tool when needed.
Data interchange tools speed migration from other tools with synchronization options to ensure model information is always up to date. Analysis tools help to identify opportunities for improvement, and publication tools to provide many ways of distributing process information for review, feedback and usage by the wider business.
Capabilities for the process analyst or process owner
Process analysts and process owners will be up and running quickly as they will be working in a familiar environment; Visio (iServer's modeling environment). All process information (models and documents), is managed in a single Windows Explorer style environment, with simple but comprehensive search and filtering tools to generate user-defined views of the process information. RACI, process to systems, process to documentation matrices can be generated in seconds and iServer's reporting tools used to produce process documentation automatically.
Capabilities for the business process manager
Process managers are provided with a fully extensible environment within which to establish and manage their process initiative. Organizations can make use of the BPMN notation provided, or can implement any required modeling language or DSL (domain specific language) quickly and easily (no customization required).
