BPA Case Study - 43
This is one of New Zealand's largest banks, with a history stretching back 150 years.
The Business Challenge
This organization had documented their processes, but found that they were being drawn differently. It was often unclear where to find the correct version of a given process.
The Solution
iServer was selected in 2009 by the bank as the tool for enterprise-wide business process modeling using the BPMN 1.2 standard. These processes are shared with the rest of the business by publishing to the intranet. Enterprise Architects also use the TOGAF® 9 module to help them understand the risks and impact of change during a period of significant transformation within the business.
Why iServer?
iServer is a perfect fit for the bank's needs because it provides a single source of truth (repository), supports the BPMN standard and allows business analysts to be more productive (collaborating and reusing process information) with their tool of choice: Microsoft Visio.
