The outsourcing organization needed a way of producing architecture models to a common standard, to be shared and managed in a single source and published quickly and easily. Previous attempts to implement traditional modelling tools had failed due to tool complexity and general user resistance.

The Solution

The implementation of iServer enabled an adoption of common working practices, which in turn raised the visibility of architecture, improved architecture collaboration and communication between the two parties.

Why iServer?

iServer was selected after a six month Capgemini study to find a 'lighter' EA tool. iServer was directly able to meet the tough challenge of being low cost, easy to use and fast to implement, whilst still being able to support Capgemini’s IAF structure and the need for a comprehensive EA initiative
