3 Examples of How EA Improves Flexibility
It can often be difficult to make the case for enterprise
architecture as an enabler of business transformation. When trying
to argue the case for any EA initiative, claims that "we could
accomplish this", or "we could achieve that", while accurate, can
fall on deaf ears.
Drawing on their experience of years of customer engagements,
the consultancy team at Orbus has developed an alternative but
effective approach to making the case for EA - the use of real-life
anecdotes.
In this paper we present three cautionary anecdotes that can be
used to show how a company that is not given the necessary support
to develop and maintain a model of its enterprise architecture will
find it difficult to adapt in the future.
