ArchiMate® 2.0: The First Modeling Language to Make TOGAF® 9.1 Practical
The intention of this white paper is not by any means to dismiss
TOGAF as a non-practical framework, but rather to highlight the
importance of using modeling standards when developing
architectures. TOAGF 9.1 and ArchiMate 2.0 are updated versions of
two of the most important and widely used standards in enterprise
architecture today.
This highly topical paper will introduce both standards and then
briefly look at the changes incorporated in their latest versions.
It will then cover how and why using ArchiMate 2.0 should mean that
TOGAF 9.1 can be used more consistently across organizations to
support business transformation.
