Further information on the Proof of Concept

How it works - the Proof of Concept Process

An iServer proof-of-concept can be done onsite or remotely. An onsite PoC requires a day of your time, and you can see iServer configured and demonstrated first hand. An offsite PoC just requires you to provide your diagrams and documents, then turn up for an internet workshop / demonstration.

  1. Scoping workshop or call - Discuss the scope and objectives of the PoC. Orbus will write up and circulate the agreed requirements.
  2. Your diagrams, documents and requirements - You provide any sample Visio diagrams, documents and any supporting background information or data.
  3. Create an iServer Repository - Orbus configure an iServer repository based on your requirements and import your data.
  4. Demonstration of the Proof of Concept - A GoToMeeting web demonstration (or in-person workshop) illustrating the repository created around your data and how iServer satisfies each of the agreed requirements.
  5. Remote Software Evaluation - Orbus provide a hosted evaluation service where you can trial iServer without the need for hardware or installation
  6. iServer Training Workshops - Orbus provide training workshops as you use the software to ensure that you get the most of your evaluation.
  7. Deliverables: Publication, presentation - We provide an iServer HTML publication and PowerPoint illustration of the proof of concept that you can share and discuss with colleagues
