Reporting Services Overview
iServer offers excellent
reporting and analysis tools in its core engine - architecture
modellers can extract catalogs, relationship matrixes, version
history and so on, covering almost all of their needs…but in
certain cases, the data needs to be massaged or combined in ways
that the standard reporting does not support - while our ability to
export to excel means that such manipulation can be done outside of
the tool, this can be time-consuming and frustrating. In other
cases, the information needs to be formatted in a specific way.
Reporting services solves these cases by allowing the modelling
team to create any report imaginable, formatted any way they
choose, with only a few clicks to set parameters.
Network modelling teams can use iServer's Reporting Services
environment and pre-packaged reports to leverage maximum value from
their models and documents. Our reports help users generate
essential documentation such as timeline roadmaps, Gap Analysis
comparisons and associated architecture documentation quickly and
easily. Reports are also available to audit and analyze network
models to assist with planning and corporate decision-making. For
customers with specific report needs and SQL reporting skills, the
user-friendly interface provided by the iServer Reporting Database
simplifies the creation and deployment of custom reports.
