iServer BI Connect allows organizations to leverage the iServer repository as an additional data source for their existing Business Intelligence toolset, enabling stakeholders to browse iServer data dynamically for data discovery and ad-hoc reporting, via configurable dashboards in the third party BI tool.
With iServer BI Connect, users can easily aggregate repository content with a variety of other data sources already being analyzed within the organization’s dashboarding interface. Stakeholders are then able to browse iServer data dynamically for data discovery and ad-hoc reporting via configurable dashboards in the third party BI tool.
iServer BI Connect provides an open database connectivity standard connection (ODBC) to live iServer repository data. This allows any ODBC supporting business intelligence or reporting application to query data directly from the iServer repository database.
The iServer repository contains a vast amount of data, so to make this more accessible to stakeholders, iServer BI Connect enables role based access to all saved iServer Views. Advanced views filters can be used to define criteria for the information users want visualized via BI Connect.
iServer BI Connect can be installed as a stand-alone client. This means that users do not require additional licenses or iServer training to query the iServer data. BI Connect can also be installed stand-alone on a central BI server if required.
