About the Role:

As a member of the Orbus Consultancy Team, your primary focus will be to engage in consultancy services for existing and new customers.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent
  • Interest in Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Analysis
  • Motivation to meet tight deadlines and to perform individually whilst working as part of a global team;
  • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate value proposition to customers through consulting services engagements;
  • Ability to absorb technical information and communicate this clearly to varied audience;
  • Up to 50% travel as part of onsite consulting engagements.

 

Typical work activities:

  • Workshops/ meetings with customers to understand their requirements;
  • Demonstration of Orbus products and Solutions to potential customers;
  • Building tailored ‘Proof of Concept’ (POC) evaluations for Potential customers;
  • Running a number of training courses and building custom training material tailored to customer usage;
    • iServer EA and BPA user training
    • iServer Administrator training
    • Train the Trainer courses
    • Online webinars to customers globally on iServer good practice with focus on EA, BPA and APM topics;
    • New customer deployments – configuring and customizing Orbus product and solutions in line with customer requirements;
    • Ensuring the Orbus CRM is kept updated by tagging all correspondence with customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, related field of study or equivalent;
  • Proficient in MS Visio and Office Applications;

One or more relevant professional certifications i.e. TOGAF, ArchiMate, COBIT, ITIL, Open CA, EACOE etc

 

About the Customer Base

Our customers are mainly comprised of large blue chip companies from multiple regions around the globe. Our highest concentration of customers is in North America, Western Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. We are also growing our customer base in South and Central America, The Middle East, Asia and The Pacific Rim.  Our customers span the entire spectrum of vertical sectors, both public and private, from Finance, Retail and Manufacturing to Pharmaceutical, Media and Consultancy. Within our customer organization, the types of individual we interact with are usually across the entire IT Management space, including and not limited to: Enterprise Architects, other IT architects (Application, Technical, Network, Data), Business Analysts, Process Analysts and Process Owners, IT Director, CTO etc.
