As a member of the Internal Sales Team your primary focus will be to contact prospective clients and web generated leads. You will take inbound calls from time to time but mostly you will call prospects that register on our website. Additionally you will provide outbound calling support for marketing initiatives.


Speaking with prospective clients in relation to various products and services enquiries, through building rapport, asking defined questions and providing required information, you will engage with prospects and convert the leads to product demonstration requests which will contribute to your weekly targets.


You will qualify any demonstration requests and book product demonstration with consultants; working closely with both Consultancy and Sales team.
In support of marketing you will be required to follow up on marketing campaigns and present the required value propositions to prospects.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and using SalesForce.

Typical work activities

  • Calling prospective leads and updating information in our leads database(SalesForce)
  • Clarifying a prospects requirements, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
  • Booking in demonstration requests and scheduling Web meetings (GoTo Meetings) in sync with consultant diaries
  • Ensuring SalesForce is kept updated by tagging all correspondence with clients
  • Producing daily and weekly leads, demonstration and sales reports from SalesForce and any other reports as required
  • Making calls to contact lists provided by the marketing team and providing the required ‘feedback’ to the marketing

Training and Prospects

Initially in this role the individual will become TOGAF certified (The Open Group Architecture Framework) as a priority followed by other industry Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL and ArchiMate. The individual will also receive in house training and advancement in telephone based direct sales, sales manner, sales forecasting and the use of a SalesForce system.


There are a number of career paths from that stem from this position. Logically an individual can progress into one of our New Business Sales, Customer Accounts, Partner Alliance or Pre-Sales consultancy roles. With a wider scope to move into a consultancy or marketing role should this be the preferred career path.


The experience gained through this position will be widely across IT Management including: Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Analysis, IT Governance, IT Service Management and the Orbus product suite and solutions. There will be opportunities for learning, training and Certification in these disciplines where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, related field of study or equivalent
  • Some formal training in Sales or Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in all MS Office Applications.

Desired Additional Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the use of GoToMeeting
