Benefits for Individuals
Being able to work in agile environments is becoming an increasingly important skill for project team members. Given the approach’s widespread applicability, a prospective or experienced Agile project manager will find their skills in high demand. However, the distinct principles and practices of Agile can seem strange to those more used to working with more rigid management structures.
This course helps students become fully certified AgilePM practitioners as quickly and efficiently as possible. Certification in AgilePM is an excellent career move for both experienced and budding project managers. The framework itself has proven to be demonstrably effective in ensuring projects deliver as much value as possible. Once an AgilePM practitioner has enough experience in applying the framework, they can quickly unlock new responsibilities, as well as higher-paying job roles.
Benefits for Organizations
Agile is ideal for projects that experience greater volatility, have fewer resources, and require more immediate results. It focuses on meeting iterative targets and reassessing project requirements, enabling more flexibility as well as immediate benefits as smaller goals are realized. At the same time, it also offers tools and best practices for enabling top-down managerial control along with alignment between projects and strategic business goals.
This course offers the most efficient route for turning employees into fully certified AgilePM practitioners. They will study Agile tools such as MoSCoW Prioritization and Timeboxing, which they can begin applying in their daily tasks. Training alongside coworkers can also make it easier for students to retain what they learn while also making sure they are all familiar with the terminology and best practices of AgilePM.
