Actors may be internal or external to an organization, depending on the context of the situation. For example, a materials supplier  would be considered an Actor by a manufacturer looking for specific materials as part of its supply chain activities.

• The Organization / Actor catalog - showing which Actors are in which organization; and
• Actor / role matrix - showing the roles undertaken by each Actor.
