Managing User Skillsets with a Global Learning Ecosystem
Enabling a Skillset Index and Competency Management for Every End User
Ensuring end users have the requisite knowledge to use and get the most value from our products is a key component Orbus Software’s Vision. The Learning Ecosystem (LE) helps Orbus Customers fulfil business objectives and compels end users to develop themselves and their skillsets. It is a digital environment were learning and development is one part of wider communication platform that up-skills end users on our products and offers Management the tools to monitor, manage, develop, create, assess and certify training, in an organic, evolving learning community.
Features of the Learning Ecosystem
Fully integrated with Orbus products, the LE delivers training, skillset and competency management through e-learning, blended learning and video for end-users and stakeholders. Uniquely, the LE is introduced from the start of a Proof of Concept to facilitate tool evaluation and provides consistent levels of training for every user, with clear monitoring of use, qualification and development. Orbus provide a wider range of e-Learning courses for Product Accreditation and IT Certifications Management.
A major benefit of the LE is the ability for Project Leads to understand the progress of tool skill-set development within the across individuals and team. Such questions can be answered:
- What learning and plans are defined for end users?
- What accreditation and certifications courses have been assigned?
- Who is taking the courses?
- How much progress has been made by individuals and across teams?
- Who has passed the exams and become accredited/certified?
- Who is behind?
- How well are user teams doing overall?
Furthermore, because the Learning Management System (LMS) part of the Ecosystem is SCORM compatible, this means that custom courses can be uploaded and assigned. Thus, access can be granted to ancillary, yet critical, e-learning as well as organizational training (e.g. company/departmental best practices).
