March Roundup

MONTHLY ROUNDUP_March_Website Featured Card

Another successful month has come and gone for Orbus Software. It was not quite March Madness for us this year, but we still had a hectic March as we continued to deliver content that solves problems across the business world.

Kicking off the month was CEO Michael D’Onofrio’s appearance on the Extrology podcast, where he discussed his breadth of experiences and how they brought him to his role at Orbus. It was a fascinating episode and is a must-listen for anyone interested in building a sustainable, enduring legacy through technology innovation.

We also had reason to celebrate, with Orbus Software named in the Top 50 best performing privately-owned technology companies in Megabuyte’s 100 Awards. We look forward to this being the first of many appearances at the top.

In our continued push for sustainable digital transformation, we became the latest signatories to Microsoft’s Partner Pledge on Sustainability. Signing the pledge gives further emphasis to our commitment to sustainability and underlines our strong partnership with Microsoft.

Our main focus for new content in March was around resiliency, as new FCA rules on operational resilience came into force on the 22nd. We presented a Readiness checklist to enable organizations to get prepared for the changes, with regulators across the world likely to follow the FCA’s lead in the coming years. We also looked at resilience as a more general idea with our white paper “The Fragility of Resilience”, in which we presented the Orbus vision for resilience as a concept.

Capping off the month, Business Resilience was the topic for our March webinar, as we featured Dr. Gordon Barnett FCCA from Forrester Research Inc. Dr. Barnett spoke on “Architecting Business Resilience as a Competitive Advantage”

Resilience wasn’t the only topic for March, with two Orbus Lives going out. The first was “Trends and Topics to Dominate Digital Transformation” with Michael D’Onofrio and Orbus CMO Tim Mitchell. Next was “BPA vs EA: Battle of the Acronyms” with Orbus consultant Philip Chernov.

And with that, March is wrapped up! We’re looking forward to another great month in April.
