Process improvements can be very wide ranging, and can often result in major changes to the processes, systems and data. Yet, prior to undertaking major 'process surgery', it can be useful to carry out 'first aid' so that we ensure any immediate problems are solved. This involves keeping a regular check on the processes vital signs, and acting quickly.
