  • Governance

    Governance is the discipline of delivering a required business outcome by monitoring, managing, and directing activities within a business (or IS/IT landscape).
  • Information

    Information is data that has been processed, analyzed and / or interpreted to give it meaning for the user.
  • Information Technology

    At its most basic, Information Technology refers to the use of technology to process data into information.
  • Intermediate Event

    An Intermediate Event is an event that occurs after a Process has been started, but before the process ends.
  • Interoperability

    Interoperability relates to ability of diverse environments, systems and organizations to work together.
  • Join

    A Join is a point in the Process where two or more parallel Sequence Flow paths are combined into one Sequence Flow path.
  • Kaizen

    A Kaizen is a Japanese term that refers to a long-term approach that systematically seeks to achieve small incremental changes in processes in order to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Kanban

    Kanban, from a Japanese word for visible card or record, was developed by Taiichi Ohno at Toyota and refers to the use of visual management tools.
  • Key Performance Indicator

    A Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a type of measurement used to evaluate elements of an organizations performance.
  • Lane

    A Lane is a a partition that is used to organize and categorize activities in a swim-lane type process diagram.
