    A Merge in a process is a point where two or more alternative process flow paths are combined into one process flow path.
  • Message

    A Message, as specified and used within BPMN 2.0, is an Object that depicts the contents of a communication between two Participants.
  • Message Flow

    A Message Flow is a connecting object that shows the flow of messages between two Participants.
  • Metadata

    Metadata refers to the data that is used to describe data and the characteristics of an entity.
  • Metamodel

    A Metamodel consists of the frameworks, rules and constraints defined to underpin the creation of a model. In very simple terms, it is the model that underpins a model.
  • Method

    A Method is a defined and repeatable series of steps capable of achieving a specific purpose, solving a specific problem or acquire knowledge.
  • Methodology

    A Methodology is the analysis of different methods and approaches to collect details of various 'best practice' methods capable of addressing various forms of common problems.
  • Model

    Model is constructed to provide a representation of a subject area of interest. The model provides a smaller (scale), simplified, and / or abstract representation of the subject area.
