Business Process Modeling Notation

Business Process Model and Notation (or BPMN) is an internationally recognized standard created by the Object Management Group (OMG) to provide a set of graphical notations for drawing business processes. The BPMN standard is currently at version 2.0, i.e. BPMN 2.0, which was ratified and published in 2011. BPMN allows the creation of process models to reflect process workflows as well as facilitating improved communication and portability of process models.
