Cause and Effect Diagram

A Cause and Effect diagram a visual tool used to arrange and categorize possible factors contributing to a certain event or problem.

The most well known form of the cause and effect diagram is the Ishikawa diagrams (sometimes also called a fishbone diagram), which was created by Kaoru Ishikawa. It helps to identify root causes and ensures common understanding of the causes.
