Collaboration

Collaboration is the act of sending messages between any two Participants. It is a means of two participants working together to complete pieces of overall work.  There is also a type of diagram in BPMN called a Collaboration and it is one of the most common types of BPMN model.

The two Participants represent two separate BPMN processes.
