Solutions Continuum

The Solutions Continuum denotes the various implementations of relevant architectures at corresponding levels within the Architecture Continuum. At each level, the Solutions Continuum is a population of the architecture with reference building blocks and represents a solution to the organization’s needs expressed at that level. Each of the reference building blocks may be developed or purchased.

A populated Solutions Continuum can be regarded as an inventory or re-use library, which adds value to the task of managing and implementing improvements to the IT environment.
