Merge
A Merge in a process is a point where two or more alternative process flow paths are combined into one process flow path.
No synchronization is required because no parallel activity runs at the join point. BPMN uses multiple incoming Sequence Flows for an Activity or an Exclusive Gateway to perform a Merge.
Also known as “OR-Join.”
