Segment Architecture
A Segment architecture provides a detailed description of a specific scoped area of either an enterprise architecture or of an enterprise. The reason for creating a segment architecture is typically to allow analysis of the full details of the scoped area without being distracted by non-essential or extraneous details within the complete Enterprise Architecture.
