Enterprise transformation platform provider Orbus Software today announced three new strategic hires to its team in North America. These additions underscore the company's commitment to growing its presence and expanding its customer base in the region.

Jamie Armstrong brings over 24 years of experience in enterprise software with a proven track record in driving growth and exceeding targets. Prior to Orbus, he led sales at Erwin, a data intelligence and enterprise modeling company. In his role as Senior Vice President of North American Sales, he is responsible for spearheading new business and leading the sales team in the region, reporting to Alex Mathieson, Chief Revenue Officer.

“I’m thrilled to join Orbus at this pivotal moment," said Armstrong. "Its innovative solutions are the gold standard in the industry, aiding organizations in their quest to become digital by default. My focus is on strengthening our sales strategies and empowering our customers in North America, no matter where they are in their transformation journey.”

As Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth, Brenda Cowie  will focus on market growth in key industries, including Financial Services and Pharmaceuticals, helping customers with their digital transformation practices. Cowie has extensive experience building long-term customer relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of enterprise transformation. Working with partners and pre-sales to deliver growth she will report to the Chief Revenue Officer

“I’m excited to join the Orbus team at this pivotal moment where organizations are seeking out a digital blueprint to fuel their future growth plans," said Cowie. "Orbus’ commitment and track record in championing initiatives that empower and support women in technology made this opportunity the perfect fit for my skills and professional ethos.”

In his role as Vice President of Federal Sales, Wally McLaughlin  will drive business development efforts. McLaughlin has over two decades of experience in the government sector, and he will focus on expanding Orbus’ footprint across local, state, and federal agencies. In his previous role at Sparx Services, he grew revenue in the US by over 15 percent each year.

“I'm excited to join Orbus. I've long appreciated the Orbus approach to architecture and look forward to helping customers with their transformation journey," said McLaughlin. "Orbus has assembled an incredibly knowledgeable and impressive team, and I'm proud to be a member.”

Alex Mathieson, Chief Revenue Officer at Orbus Software, added: “Attracting this talented trio to Orbus further cements that we will deliver on our commitment to help businesses transform smarter. Their wealth of industry knowledge and proven track records will be catalysts for scaling our success in North America as we enable our customers to manage continuous change in complex environments.”
