Orbus Software are pleased to announce the arrival of 2 new senior members to our global team as we continue to enhance our team strength and look ahead to expansion in 2022. Paul Smith and Alex Day are the first of many new team members joining Orbus Software over the next year.
Paul Smith has accepted the role of permanent Chief Financial Officer, based in the London office. Paul has 30+ years of experience at other global software companies including IFS AB, a cloud enterprise software company with 10,000+ customers and 4,000+ staff HQ in Sweden, and Pirum Systems, a UK-based financial services technology vendor serving 100+ large financial institutions. Paul will also be joining our Board as an Executive Director.
Paul commented: “Good product, at the right place and the right time, enthusiastic pleasant people, combined with ambitious shareholders. A brief summary of my due diligence before signing. I’m looking forward to helping Orbus to the next stage of its development.”
Alex Day is joining us as Senior Vice President Sales, North America, based in the Nashville metropolitan area. Alex will be leading our go-to-market activities in the region. He joins us from Signavio, a hyper-growth business transformation and process management software vendor recently acquired by SAP for $1B+ last year, and Zywave, an InsureTech platform with 700+ staff.
Alex added: “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to lead the Orbus NA team, which is made up of exceptionally talented individuals. Orbus is a rocket ship that is well positioned to not only be a dominant player the EA marketplace, but also as a critical platform to help companies manage their enterprise-wide digital transformations.”
