Orbus Software Surge Into 2022

January Roundup Featured Card

It’s been a blistering start to the year for Orbus Software! There’s no ‘settling into a new normal’ over here, as we continue to exceed our targets, expand our borders and explore new ideas. Perhaps the biggest news for us came from our new hires, with 4 key positions filled in January. First, Paul Smith and Alex Day joined as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President Sales, North America respectively, followed by Matt Durazzani as Head of Commercial Operations and Marjorie Martinez as Global Head of Partnerships. It’s been great to welcome the four to the team and we look forward to many more new team members joining throughout the year.

That wasn’t the only major announcement for Orbus, however, with the company proud to announce that in 2022 we will be going carbon negative with the objective to achieve net-zero of all our emissions since founding by the end of 2025.

Our series of Orbus Lives and Orbinars continues apace, with the first Orbus Live of the year coming on the 24th of February, as Orbus security expert Aaron McManus-Wood talks cyber defenses in "The Most Dangerous Trade: Making the Right Choice in CyberSecurity", followed by an Orbinar from experienced risk and resiliency leader Sanjiv Nathani, presenting “Designing Business as Unusual” on 9th of February at 4pm GMT.

Our first customer success story of the year takes the form of a video interview with Three UK’s Head of Domain Architecture, which highlighted the difference that iServer made to their drive for “better connectivity everyday”.  On the blog, we opened the year with a look at Business-centric Enterprise Architecture, before delving into current events with our blogs on December’s AWS failure and responding to the COVID-19 Omicron variant. The last eBook in the CIO challenges series, Disconnected Silos of Enterprise Data, was launched, along with a poster summarizing the entire series, The 8 Biggest Challenges That CIOs Face

Looking forward, we will be launching a program focused on building resiliency in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) space alongside expanding our Microsoft and ServiceNow global partnerships.  We are also looking forward to celebrating the customer success stories from several banking clients across the world including SR Bank of Norway, Banco Montepio of Portugal and CIM Bank of Malaysia, with many more success stories to come during Q1 2022 so stay tuned!
