OrbusInfinity UAE Data Residency & Compliance

Overview

OrbusInfinity is built for enterprises that demand control, security, and regulatory certainty over their most sensitive data. Our UAE Data Residency offering ensures that your enterprise architecture data - your systems, applications, dependencies, and strategic insights - is stored, processed, and managed entirely within the United Arab Emirates.

Whether you operate in financial services, government, energy, or critical national infrastructure, OrbusInfinity gives you confidence that your data never leaves UAE soil.

Where Your Data Lives

OrbusInfinity UAE Data Residency is hosted on Microsoft Azure UAE North (region: uaenorth), located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. All primary tenant data, including your architecture models, metadata, configurations, and encrypted backups, is stored and processed within UAE national boundaries.

What stays in the UAE:

  • All enterprise architecture data loaded into OrbusInfinity
  • Tenant configuration, metadata, and application state
  • Encrypted database snapshots and document attachments
  • Audit logs and access records stored in UAE-based cloud accounts

There are no planned functional differences between UAE-hosted tenants and those hosted in other OrbusInfinity regions. You get the full platform capabilities, with full local data control.

Regulatory Framework Certifications

OrbusInfinity UAE Data Residency is designed to support compliance with the key regulatory frameworks governing data governance, privacy, and security across the UAE, including but not limited to:

  • Microsoft Azure UAE Local Cloud Infrastructure: OrbusInfinity is hosted on Microsoft Azure UAE North (Abu Dhabi), ensuring all data is stored and processed on sovereign, in-country infrastructure, providing assurance that data never leaves UAE national boundaries.
  • TDRA Cloud Computing Regulatory Framework (CCRF): The CCRF establishes the UAE's regulatory baseline for cloud services, covering data classification, security controls, and governance. OrbusInfinity's UAE deployment is aligned with CCRF principles, supporting customers in meeting their cloud adoption obligations.
  • NESA Information Assurance Standards: NESA defines mandatory security controls for critical information infrastructure in the UAE. OrbusInfinity's security architecture supports customers subject to NESA requirements, providing the controls and audit visibility needed to demonstrate compliance.
  • DESC Information Security Management Requirements: DESC sets information security requirements for organizations operating in Dubai, aligned closely with ISO/IEC 27001. OrbusInfinity's UAE deployment supports DESC-aligned security practices, making it well-suited for Dubai government entities and their supply chain partners.

Note: OrbusInfinity supports your compliance obligations but does not constitute legal advice. We recommend engaging your compliance and legal teams to confirm alignment with applicable regulations

Why This Matters for UAE Enterprises

For enterprise architecture teams, the data inside OrbusInfinity is not just operational — it represents your organisation's strategic blueprint: the systems you depend on, the risks you carry, and the transformation roadmap you're executing.

The UAE's evolving regulatory landscape makes it clear: sensitive enterprise data must be handled with the same rigour as any other critical asset. Data residency requirements are no longer a compliance checkbox, they are a prerequisite for responsible enterprise governance.

OrbusInfinity UAE Data Residency helps you:

  • Meet national and sector-specific regulatory obligations without architectural trade-offs
  • Protect strategic and sensitive architecture data from cross-border exposure
  • Reduce legal, regulatory, and operational risk associated with offshore data storage
  • Enable robust audit, governance, and oversight processes with locally retained logs and records
  • Accelerate procurement and approval processes — data residency concerns are resolved from day one

Whether you're a government entity, a UAE-regulated financial institution, an energy company, or a large enterprise navigating national data governance policies, OrbusInfinity removes a critical barrier to adopting a world-class enterprise architecture platform.
