Orbus Software, a leading global provider of enterprise transformation software, today announced an expanded strategic partnership with global business and technology consulting company, Slalom, to help customers accelerate AI‑enabled transformation with a foundation of modern enterprise architecture.
Orbus and Slalom have been collaborating since 2020 to support some of their largest joint customers across telecommunications and government sectors. Today’s announcement marks a significant deepening of that partnership, focused on helping organizations harness AI responsibly, securely, and at scale – with enterprise architecture as the backbone for clarity, governance, and measurable outcomes.
In February 2026, Orbus and Slalom jointly published ‘Intelligent Architecture: The Foundation for AI Success’, a market‑facing white paper that outlines why most AI initiatives fail and how organizations can use enterprise architecture to scale AI responsibly and effectively. This research underpins the expanded partnership and reinforces both companies’ commitment to helping customers build AI as a true enterprise capability.
“Organizations are all facing the same disconnect – AI proliferating across the enterprise, but measurable business impact lagging behind,” said M. Hans Delly, Managing Director and Global Lead of Slalom’s Technology Strategy & Advisory capability and business. “We’ve seen this pattern before. Enterprises that rushed to cloud without architectural discipline ended up with orphaned workloads and a cleanup bill. ‘Intelligent architecture’ breaks that cycle for AI, and our partnership with Orbus puts a purpose-built platform behind it.”
The platform from Orbus is used globally by organizations to map, manage, and transform their technology and business landscapes, enabling them to optimize technology investment, create AI-driven value, drive effective business transformation, accelerate market innovation, and strengthen resilience and compliance.
“Every organization’s AI journey is different, but the ones that stall have one thing in common – they lack the architectural foundation to connect AI initiatives to measurable business outcomes,” said Delly. “Intelligent architecture gives leaders a way to govern what’s deployed, measure what’s delivering value, and scale what works. That’s what our partnership with Orbus is built to deliver.”
Orbus also recently announced that OrbusInfinity® Government, its platform built for the US public sector, has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) Authorized status and Moderate Impact Authority to Operate (ATO). With FedRAMP Authorized status, US federal agencies can now deploy the platform with a significantly accelerated procurement and accreditation path, reducing the time, cost, and risk traditionally associated with adopting cloud services.
Through the expanded partnership, enterprise and government organizations gain access to joint offerings that combine enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management, and transformation capabilities from Orbus with Slalom’s deep consulting expertise across AI readiness, operating model design, digital modernization, and cloud strategy.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with Slalom,” said Steve Fulton, CEO, Orbus Software. “Over the past several years, we’ve worked together to support some of our largest enterprise and government customers, demonstrating the power of aligning enterprise architecture with business strategy. As customers embrace AI, Slalom’s strategic and technical leadership paired with OrbusInfinity gives organizations the confidence and capability to scale AI initiatives with governance, transparency, and speed.”
The expanded relationship comes at a pivotal moment as organizations face increasing complexity – from AI-driven innovation and new regulatory requirements to multi-cloud ecosystem sprawl. By combining OrbusInfinity platform with Slalom’s AI and transformation services, customers can accelerate key initiatives, including:
- Establishing enterprise-wide AI operating models
- Modernizing legacy architectures to support next-generation digital experiences
- Strengthening governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Reducing technical debt while increasing agility
- Delivering business value faster through data-driven decision-making
Orbus and Slalom will initially focus on expanded support across North America and key global accounts, followed by broader co-delivery in telecommunications, public sector, financial services, and healthcare. New joint offerings and solution accelerators will be announced later this year.
