From AI Insights to Ice Cream: Gartner Application Innovation & Business Solutions Summit 2023

On September 13-14, we had the pleasure of attending the much-anticipated Gartner Application Innovation & Business Solutions Summit in London. Organizations from around the world convened to reshape software delivery and drive business value, a mission firmly aligned with the capabilities of our enterprise transformation platform, OrbusInfinity. 

One of the event’s standout sessions was presented by Three UK’s Andrew Kiely and Daniel Blankley, during which they shared their insights on tackling the proliferation of tech with effective enterprise architecture. With a packed audience, they discussed the essential role of architecture modeling in making strategic business decisions.

But it wasn’t all business; there was also a delightful touch of fun infused into the proceedings. Our booth became a hotspot, not just for the value that OrbusInfinity offers to enterprise architects, IT teams, and decision-makers, but also during the networking reception when business and IT minds came together over a soft-serve ice cream machine. 

The summit was rich with learning opportunities, featuring key tracks such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Artificial Intelligence, and more. Unsurprisingly, AI took the spotlight in many sessions, including in a Gartner-led workshop. Speakers discussed the implementation of generative AI using large language models like ChatGPT and offered enterprises a deep dive into the potential use cases for their business. 

The event also fostered thoughtful conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in the roundtable focusing on Women in IT, a pressing issue in the industry today. 

Looking back, we’re thrilled to have been a part of this forward-looking event and grateful for the connections made and the insights gained. It’s wonderful to hear from like-minded individuals about the business challenges they face and the value that OrbusInfinity brings in helping them to make better, faster decisions while reducing costs and mitigating risks.
